On 24th January 2021, I happened to visit SOS Children’s Village, Vottinagulapally at outskirts of Hyderabad city. This invitation was from my Guide and other 3 of my colleagues visited this orphanage Centre.

In SOS (Save Our Soul), there are around 140 Students or say Children of age 3 Yrs. To 18 Yrs. at most. This NGO was established in 2003 and their aim was to help children who were neglected or abandoned by their families due to their inability to meet the needs. There are 12 Homes and 11 to 12 children to be kept in each house with one female guardian whom they address as “Mother”. There are facilities like Television, Computer, Library, Playground, etc., for access.

Out of 15 new children, each of us has been assigned to 2-3 students to take educational assessment of children. I took 4 children for case study.

Conducted Tests:

a)       Seguin Form Board Test (SFBT) to measure intelligence in Children.

Guidelines for Psychology Case Studies

The following are format of Case Studies to keep Records of Patients / Clients data collected by the aspiring Psychology Students. These are must be followed to have a clear view of problem facing by client and suggested therapy need to be taken from time-to-time.

As you can say Client data is confidential, yes but until unless you don't reveal their full name and address of their location.

Before taking below information, first you have to establish Rapport with the Customer / Client.

Same is applicable for all Counseling / Clinical / Organizational Psychologists.

I thank my guide Dr. Lakshmi Narayana for support and his teachings. I observed him on how he dealt with clients.

Note: Case Studies which I am about to present in further articles are only Summary (not full case records).
